Nike notoriously created the Aqua Sock back in the mid-1980s as an amphibious sneaker-sock which quickly spawned incremental upgrades such as the Aqua Turf. It returns for the first time since 1992 and will likely see more dry land than its aquatic environment ??but prove us wrong.

The stretchy mesh sock is thin and form-fitting, designed to be worn sockless. Underfoot a beefy rubber and foam sole offers adequate grip on tarmac and should go the distance as well. This doesnt mean cushioning is a second thought ??a foam midsole strobel dulls impact just enough for this to stay on feet for more than a few steps.
